Grow confidence

I work with a diverse range of groups — including youth, community organisations, corporate teams, LBGTQI+, First Nations, differently abled, first generation Australians, and at-risk young people — to ignite creativity and cultivate a sense of belonging.

By engaging in these workshops, participants actively contribute to creating and shaping our collective artwork, leaving their mark on their environment that makes a difference.

Building together

I believe that active participation in public space artwork energises communities, encouraging pride through engagement and consideration. Together we foster collaboration across social groups, age groups, and diverse backgrounds, while engaging in knowledge and financial partnerships that span disciplines and cultures.

Join me in building an artwork that not only beautifies but also communicates meaningful messages, fosters a shared sense of purpose, and drives effective community engagement.

Participants actively contribute to creating their environment…

…while collectively shaping our shared spaces.

“We LOVE the mural work you did on the Narrabundah Sporting Pavilion. It talks to exactly who we are as a club - it's fun, strong, and bold. Training next to it makes us feel proud...”

  • Raising young female voices through the frame of sustainability.

Using only recycled materials, this street art workshop focused on 6 x 16-23 year old females from various schools across Canberra, workshopping the theme “Raise young female voices within the frame of sustainability”. I asked the question “What change would you like to see in the world, and what’s stopping it?”. Created in partnership with Northside Community Services, funded by TCCS ACT Government.

  • Engaging youth to respond to themes of mental wellbeing beyond gender stereotypes with Australian Olympians for International Women’s Day

Co-created Youth Street Art project workshopping with 8 students from Erindale College workshopping the theme “Choose to Challenge” with keynote talk from female Olympian Caroline Buchanan on how to overcome negative thinking and gender stereotypes. The workshop included a module on “Expressive Type”, and how to use art to empower ourselves.

  • Unique Team Building Workshop inspiring one-of-a-kind office mural for Design Thinking Strategist Global HQ

Approaching this office mural as a two week art residency, I ran a workshop with employees to discover relevant mural themes before creating this design in house while bouncing ideas off employees and team leaders. The end result is a uniquely personal and sensitive office mural artwork, a collaboration between myself and the employee team.

  • Using street art to bring local students together with members of the skate park community for a youth drop-in hub

Youth street art workshop working various age groups from with three different local schools, along side members of the public and members of the council to create this four sided shipping container mural artwork featuring the community-led designs: “Thrive Amidst Chaos'“, “2620” (the local postcode, and an important symbol for the local graff community), and the platypus which held significance to the local community.

  • Celebrating Murrumbidgee country in consultation with Wiradjuri Elders from the Murrumbidgee Arts Kinship Enterprise (M.A.K.E), in collaboration with art therapist Kerri Weymouth

Creating two artworks for the “Wiradjuri Walk”, in collaboration with local art therapist and celebrated fine artist Kerri Weymouth including workshop consultation with Wiradjuri Elders from the Murrumbidgee Arts Kinship Enterprise (M.A.K.E)
Timeline: One week creating a physical mural inside the M.A.K.E community centre, which was photographed and digitally printed onto a billboard on the entrance to Darlington Point, NSW.

  • An interactive take celebrating primary school values through community engagement

This artwork was co-designed through an on-site workshopping experience with two representatives from each grade from K-6. The artwork design had to include the opportunity for every student in the school, plus teachers and parents to contribute to the mural during a school fete. This project required two weeks painting on site and one day workshopping with over 170 students, teachers and parents for individual contributions.

Looking for a changemaking project?

Community engagement murals, placemaking projects and team building workshops make up some of my favourite experiences as a creative. I firmly believe in the power of raising youth voices, and love hearing the stories of community groups from diverse backgrounds no matter what age.
