One year after my fathers death I travelled to his craftsman roots, exploring workshops in ceramics, Ikebana flower arranging, Shibori dyeing techniques, Kintsugi pottery repair, and Aizome indigo dyeing in the area he lived in the 1970's while studying traditional Japanese ceramics.

BWAE field trip organised by the Australian National University Environment Studio. This 8 week program was scheduled to include 2 field trips to Giggamy Creek, Eden to engage with First Nations and experts for the “Bundian Way” songline that travels from Eden on the South Coast up through the Deua into the Snowy Mountains.

Artwork commission for ethical clothing label based in Newquay UK, released alongside rebrand, web design and illustration by myself.

One month artist in residence culminating in art exhibition created on a solo trip through the United States of America titled “Broken Spells of Golden Vision”. This a travelogue of 35mm film photographs, watercolour and ink drawings, and poetry also featured digital prints for sale and a mural installation titled “May the Path Lead You Astray”

Inspired by a recent trip to Europe, “Double Vision” features museum artifacts and travel souveneirs surrounding a mythical animal fighting itself (or dancing?). The title “Double Vision” refers to the pendulum movement of the skateboarders using the skate ramp in front, while reflecting my own mental wellbeing at the time - which swung from optimism and clarity to depression and brain fog.

3 month art residency at Tooth and Nail Studio and Gallery in Adelaide SA, resulting in "Double Entendre" exhibition shared with local artist Cam Kerr. My work in this show explored life on the road, mental well being and the search for a sense of belonging.

Artist in residence for global surf and streetwear company, Electric California resulting in 3 hand painted "Mashman" snowboarding helmets and an in-house mural.

Live art created in one session alongside Sydney contemporary female artist, Noni Cragg, and later auctioned off.
