I'm a big fan of real life conversations, and try to have phone calls, or video chats if we can't meet in person. There's always questions to ask and briefs to unpack, so don't hesitate to book in a consultation and let's chat it through.

My pricing is based on both the project's scope and your desired timeline. Given that my skills range from graphic design and illustration to murals, workshop facilitation, live art and public speaking - every project and budget is different and my pricing reflects that.
My clients also range from community group to corporate, so if you are working within a capped budget please let me know so I can price accordingly. -
Please reach out as early as you can to lock something into my schedule, particularly if you need the project completed by a certain date.
From there we’ll line up a meeting to talk goals, values and priorities. Depending on your needs, I’ll co-design a project with you to meet your budget and scope. -
Great question! A mural artwork commission is, in short, a “Bohie Original”. This means I’ve designed it directly from my imagination, albeit often inspired by community engagement and research undertaken for this site-specific piece. I paint these murals on my own, resulting in a “Bohie Style” artwork, like most of the murals you see on my homepage of this website.
A co-created mural, on the other hand, is a fantastic way to raise youth voices, empower community groups and inspire change through collaboratively designing and painting a mural artwork together. I am deeply passionate about this work, though it should be noted that the end result varies quite considerably from my originally design and solo painted murals. Co-created murals involve much more block color, clean lines and reduced content. This is to ensure that anyone with any (if not zero) brush skills can get involved and feel like they’ve made a meaningful contribution to the project. I design the artworks differently for these projects so that I can come along after our community engagement workshops and tidy up the technical side of the artwork.
For examples of these works please head to the “Workshops” section of this website.

Yes! I can apply for grants to support our project ideas, but this requires an upfront fee to cover my time. This cost cannot be built into the final project fee because if the grant isn’t approved, I wouldn’t receive any compensation for the work involved. Sometimes, securing funding may also require multiple grant applications or corporate sponsorship outreach.
To keep things simple, I offer the following options:
Single grant application – $350 (For when you have a specific grant in mind and just need the time and expertise to apply.)
Comprehensive funding support – $750 (Covers up to 3 grant applications + corporate sponsorship outreach to groups like Dulux Paint and Bendigo Bank.)
Grant reporting & follow-ups – $350 (Covers any post-approval requirements, including final reports.)
This ensures you get the best chance at securing funding while also valuing the time and effort involved in the process. Let’s chat about what grants might be the best fit for your project!

Exciting times!
But if I’ve learnt anything I know if you’re a teacher or Wellbeing Officer who’s clicked down this tab, it usually means you’re stressed, under staffed, overworked and taking on a mural project “without a creative bone in your body”.
Hi, I’m Bohie and please let me help you. Here’s what you do:Email hello@bohie.com.au
Title the email “Urgent: School Mural, Tight Deadline
Describe your needs including wall dimensions, surface material, mural themes - or if you don’t know any of this yet that’s totally fine, let’s line up a Teams Meet at your earliest convenience to nut this stuff out
If I can’t fit you into my schedule personally, I’ll support you to find the right local artist and guide you through the process to ensure you’re able to spend this funding in a meaningful way that empowers your students (and gets you some excellent school news materials to boast about).
Please peruse the Workshops section of this website for examples of my youth-led and co-created mural project designs.
But most importantly, don’t sweat. We’ve got this!! -
Yes! I will happily travel to your area for an artwork commission, workshop, artist talk, or community engagement project.
Please be transparent about your location requirements in your commission request, keep in mind travel and accomodation costs, and be prepared to link me up with local community leaders and education about your area upon arrival to make the best out of your project.

In a fast paced world where real life community engagement is becoming more and more important as a counter balance to rising anxieties and the effects of social media, my expertise as a consultant helps organisations navigate their projects and funding opportunities effectively.
Here are a few scenarios where you might find my services beneficial:
Launching Community Initiatives: If you're a local government or organisation aiming to kickstart a community-driven project but aren't sure where to begin, I can help. I specialise in designing inclusive workshops that foster collaboration and creativity among community members. Together, we can outline a project that resonates with local needs in a uniquely site-specific way.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Projects: Many businesses are looking to enhance their social impact but need guidance on how to align their initiatives with community values. With over 10 years of experience working with a broad sweep of communities (think everyone from at-risk youth to corporate teams, trauma centers to state government, STEM groups to First Nation Elders), I can help you brainstorm and implement projects that not only meet corporate objectives but also genuinely contribute to the community.
Creating Sustainable Art Projects: For organisations wanting to integrate art into their social impact initiatives, I can consult on the design and execution of sustainable projects that engage local artists and community members, ensuring diverse voices are represented.
Building Collaborative Networks: If you’re interested in forming partnerships with other organisations to amplify your impact, I can help facilitate those connections and design collaborative projects that draw on the strengths of multiple stakeholders.
By collaborating together, we can create meaningful projects that benefit the community while aligning with your organisational goals. You’re not in this alone.

Absolutely! Whether you have a rough idea or no clue where to start, I can guide you through a creative process to develop a theme that reflects your community, school, business, or organisation. I’ll work with you to explore key messages, visual storytelling, and styles that will make our artwork meaningful and impactful.
-
That depends on the type of project!
Bohie Mural: I take the lead on design and execution, creating a mural that aligns with your vision, often in partnership with research institutes and thought leaders, where possible.
Co-Created Mural: This is a collaborative process where I work closely with your group (students, employees, or community members) to design and/or paint the mural together.
Either way, you’ll have input, and I’ll ensure the final artwork feels like a perfect fit for your space.

No problem! There are plenty of creative alternatives, that are actually really exciting - such as:
Portable mural panels that can be installed anywhere
Community art installations like painted tiles, banners, or digital murals
Workshops where participants create smaller-scale artworks that come together as a larger piece
Public space projects where I organise somewhere outside of the box to showcase our works
Light Projection and ephemeral art that’s not permanent in your space, but able to be enjoyed when the time is right for you
Honestly, the list is endless. I can help find a solution that fits your space and needs.
-
